We NEED bad and average books in order to have standouts. I just hope your next book will be an outstanding read! *fingers crossed* :)

Btw, I honestly don't care that much about titles/covers. As long the story inside is good I'm good. I try not to dwell though either a book will be good or bad. They can't always be winners.Kristin A.https://www.blogger.com/profile/15763712406760271208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5838669499887672230.post-84509166498691174852013-05-09T17:12:35.418-05:002013-05-09T17:12:35.418-05:00First of all, *hugs* Book disappointments are the...First of all, *hugs* Book disappointments are the worst. They make me so sad. I get in 'slumps' from time to time, and that can be the fault of the book or me needing to switch things up a bit. I usually just read a book or two from a different genre, and that seems to help. Last week, I realized I couldn't handle any more books set in high school for a while; so I'm reading about a MC who is in her 30's. Really seems to be helping. I depend heavily on my best book buddies. They always know just what I need, and I have complete trust in them when they rec a book to me. I'm not one to turn down a book based on the title or cover - though I am quick to pick one up because it catches my eye. I think we all go through these disappointments and have to remember that reading should be done for pleasure. No negative Nancy's, please! I hope your run of book bad luck ends soon. Great post!
