  For this weeks From Page To Screen, I have decided to cover Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling. First let's discuss the book. Below is the cover. Now for a bit of back story in case some of you aren't familiar with the novel. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is a novel written by author J.K. Rowling. The book was originally released June 2, 1999 by Scholastic (June 2,1998 by Bloomsbury in the U.K.). Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets follows Harry's second year at Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Upon release Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets shot to the top of many bestseller lists and was met with widespread critical acclaim. J.K. Rowling found writing Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets difficult because she wasn't sure a follow up would live up to the success of the first book. For this weeks Book to Movie Monday I have decided to cover the movie Alice In Wonderland (2010). First let's discuss the Book, below is the cover. Now for a little back story in case some of you aren't familiar with the novel. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland aka Alice In Wonderland is a novel written by written by English author Charles Lutwidge Dodgson under the pseudonym Lewis Carroll. The Book was published November 26,1865 by Macmillan. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland has never been out of print in fact, the book has been translated into over 97 languages and has over 100 different editions in print. Let's look at some of the characters in the book.
