This week on From Page to Screen I'll be tackling Gayle Forman's critically acclaimed young adult  novel turned film, If I Stay. First Let's Discuss The Book Here is a bit of back story in case some of you aren't familiar with the novel. If I Stay is a novel written by Author Gayle Forman and was published in 2009 by Dutton Penguin. If I Stay chronicles the story of 17-year-old Mia Hall as she deals with the aftermath of a catastrophic car accident involving her family. Upon release the book was well received by fans and critics alike prompting the announcement of a film produced by Summit entertainment as being in the works barely less than a year after the novels release. From Divergent to Vampire Academy 2014 is definitely shaping up to be the year of Books being adapted into films. While I might not be excited for all of them some can't arrive soon enough! So to kick off my very first From Page To Screen of the New Year I want to share some of my more anticipated releases with all of you.
