For this week's Zurvival Saturday I wanted to discuss my Top 5 favorite Zombie Slaying weapons. 1.) The Crossbow - Before Daryl Dixon, a young woman named Buffy Summers carried one around making the undead obsessed me fall in love. Not only does a crossbow look cool but it also is good at killing things (animal and zombie alike). Now granted crossbows do have weight to them so it is important to find one and become accustomed to it before SHTF. I'd even go so far to say that you should go hunting with it a few times as well, that way you can feel what it's like ripping an arrow out of a creature. Plus Hunting is a valuable skill to learn and who knows you might just catch some dinner on your first go out. 2.) The Parang - Think of the parang like the sexier older brother of the machete. Light, razor sharp and perfectly balanced, this is one of the best weapons you could own if a Zombie Apocalypse were to happen. Plus it's renewable. All you need is a whetstone or ...
