| Ever read a book you thought you could have written better yourself? |
Oh sure I think we have all come across a book like that before. I have even spent hours writing down what I think needed to be changed and purposely started friendly arguments with people just so I could share my obviously far superior ideas.
It gets even worse when some genius in Hollywood decides a movie needs to be made off the book. Now granted sometimes the Hollywood writer sees the flaws I do and changes them for the better, other times though they stay true to the book and then I have to spend even more time griping and moaning about it.
Now I know your probably laughing, like why do you care? I care because I hate books full of plot holes, cliches, and errors being touted as brilliant fiction. That being said maybe I've just read so many books, I've become overly critical. Or possibly I just like hearing myself talk. Yeah that's probably it.

I'm sure your "obviously far superior ideas" are great. lol. that line made me smile, thank you. But being overly critical or hearing ourselves talk.. that's why we keep blogs, right? :p
ReplyDeleteI agree with the movies.. it's a hit or a miss. So we will see how the upcoming Hunger Games and The Hobbit do in the box office!
