In the Community, there is no more pain or war. Implanted computer chips have wiped humanity clean of destructive emotions, and thoughts are replaced by a feed from the Link network. When Zoe starts to malfunction (or "glitch"), she suddenly begins having her own thoughts, feelings, and identity. Any anomalies must be immediately reported and repaired, but Zoe has a secret so dark it will mean certain deactivation if she is caught: her glitches have given her uncontrollable telekinetic powers. As Zoe struggles to control her abilities and stay hidden, she meets other glitchers including Max, who can disguise his appearance, and Adrien, who has visions of the future. Together, this growing band of glitchers must find a way to free themselves from the controlling hands of the Community before they’re caught and deactivated, or worse. In this action-packed debut, Glitch begins an exciting new young adult trilogy.

Why am I waiting?

This book just sounds good, really it just comes down to that. A girl who not only suddenly learns she can feel but has uncontrollable telekinetic powers. You know that character is going to be a mess. I want to see Zoe's Journey and what made that population believe that chipping them was in the best interest of society.

  16. I can't wait for Glitch either - I love the concept and that cover! I hadn't seen the trailer yet - love the music and that ending. I'm wondering whose arm I can twist to get an early copy now. lol

I think my pick made it onto at least a handful of lists this week and had been picked by a bunch of people over last month. I've given up on trying to be unique. :D

    1. If I worried about what everyone else had, I'd never post anything lol.

I had never seen the trailer til this morning so jumped at the chance to include it. If you find someone who wouldn't mind an arm twisted twice let me know :P

  21. This is one of my most anticipated reads this year! I'm dying to read it! And the trailer's out! Good point. I wonder what made them believe that computer chips was the way to go, too. But then again I also wonder how people could ever see love as something worth living without. Seeing it as a little bit of an illness I understand but thinking it's bad enough to get rid of? (Delirium). Awesome pick :). Thanks for sharing!

And thanks for dropping by my blog!

  22. Great pick! I'm starting to see this one around more and more. Thanks for sharing!
