Booking Through Thursday (10)

Cathy De Los Santos asks:
If you could write a book, what would it be about, and why?

Over the years I've started writing a few but always lost interest with them. I did have a fairly established saga started about two years back. It was an epic fantasy which I intended to unfold over three books. I had maps, lineages of the characters, a whole notebook of slang used by the main female. It was really aggressively written for about a year and then I lost interest for whatever reason and now the story is sitting on a shelf collecting dust somewhere. I can still remember the dream I had about it and having that strong urge to just get up immediately and write. Maybe someday I'll pick it back up and complete it even just for myself but as of now I have no plans to.

My husband has always said I should write about Zombies but I've honestly never tried to.

Have you ever wanted to write a book of your own? If so, what type was it? Let me know in the comments below, I love reading your responses.

  1. You should definitely revisit the manuscript. It sounds like an interesting series :)

    1. I really feel the premise is unique and I didn't throw it out so there is certainly a good chance I'll go back to it eventually.

  3. Please pick up with the manuscript again! I'd read it I loove epic fantasy! A great idea anyway, and I've jotted down a few ideas for a fantasy book/series of my own but just never sit down and actually begin.
