A vacation in Greece sounds like the perfect way for Kate Winters to spend her first sabbatical away from the Underworld...until she gets caught up in an immortal feud going back millennia. Castor and Pollux have been on the run from Zeus and Hades' wrath for centuries, hiding from the gods who hunt them. The last person they trust is Kate, the new Queen of the Underworld. Nevertheless, she is determined to help their cause. But when it comes to dealing with immortals, Kate still has a lot to learn...

Review:

The Goddess Hunt takes place in the time between The Goddess Test and The Goddess Interrupted. Kate is on her 6 month leave from the underworld and is traveling Greece with her best friend James. Detouring from their tour group in Greece, James and Kate stumble across the Gemini twins themselves Pollux & Castor. If the names don't sound familiar don't worry, Aimee includes enough back story about the characters to easily follow along.

The Goddess Hunt is written mostly from Henry's perspective but that doesn't mean we don't get to the see a fair bit from Kate as well. Speaking of Kate she is really turning into her own woman and I think I might of even liked her more in this short novella than I did in the original book even.

The Goddess Hunt Novella is a quick read and comes in at a mere 92 pages. Don't let that deter you though, this book was action packed and paced perfectly. It had been a while since I stepped into the world of Kate and Henry and this novella proves how much I truly missed it. I really have no complaints about the writing it was flawless.

Overall, I cannot wait to continue on to the next installment Goddess Interrupted and see where the story goes. If you loved The Goddess Test I highly recommend picking this up before moving on to the next in the series. Henry's point of view is rather interesting and due to Pollux and Castor's storyline you get to see another chink in the God's armor so to speak. Plus, it's worth picking up just to see Kate tear into Walter, good times! In the end I will be rating The Goddess Hunt ★★★★.

  1. I like this series a lot. I think the only one I haven't read (besides The Goddess Inheritance, which I'll be starting shortly) is the one with the series of short stories, #2.5 I guess it is. I think you'll really like Goddess Interrupted. Most actually like that one better than The Goddess Test. :)

    1. I don't own The Goddess Legacy either. I've started Goddess Interrupted and it's quite good. I think it certainly helps reading The Goddess Hunt beforehand even if just to get another perspective on Jame's mood.
