Waiting On Wednesday (101) A Time To Die by Nadine Brandes
Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly blog post hosted by Breaking The Spine where readers showcase which books they are highly anticipating. This week I'm turning my spotlight on A Time To Die by Nadine Brandes.
Expected Publication:
September 2014 from Marcher Lord Press
How would you live if you knew the day you'd die?
Parvin Blackwater has wasted her life. At only seventeen, she has one year left according to the Clock by her bedside.
In a last-ditch effort to make a difference, she tries to rescue Radicals from the crooked justice system. But when the authorities find out about her illegal activity, they cast her through the Wall -- her people's death sentence.
What she finds on the other side about the world, about eternity, and about herself changes Parvin forever and might just save her people. But her Clock is running out.

Why Am I Waiting?
I actually came across this title on Pinterest while searching for covers to include in my Cover Madness Giveaway Hop. Once checking it out on Goodreads I realized it was one that I would really like to read. The premise to me sort of sounds like a mixture between the film In Time and the books Inhuman and Countdown. However, I could be completely wrong so we shall see once it releases!

I hadn't heard of this one before! But ohh, how I love that cover! And the premise sounds intense - whenever there is a countdown involved, you always know you're in for a fast paced read! Off to add it to my Goodreads tbr now - thanks!

Oh wow this sounds thought provoking!! I hadn't seen it before but it's def something I think I'd like! And yay for Cover Madness introducing you new books! :D
ReplyDeleteA book with both run from government/conspiracy and survive in the jungle sounds nice. Add in the clock that's ticking down, makes it great. However, I'm not so much on new dystopia reads right now... I hope you'll love this, anyway. ;)
ReplyDeleteMy WoW, and when you hop over, come check out my Two Year Blogoversary Giveaway!
