Waiting On Wednesday (122) Ink and Bone by Rachel Caine

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly blog post hosted by Breaking The Spine where readers showcase which books they are highly anticipating. This week I'm turning my spotlight on Ink and Bone by Rachel Caine.

Expected Publication:
July 7, 2015 from NAL

In an exhilarating new series, New York Times bestselling author Rachel Caine rewrites history, creating a dangerous world where the Great Library of Alexandria has survived the test of time.…

Ruthless and supremely powerful, the Great Library is now a presence in every major city, governing the flow of knowledge to the masses. Alchemy allows the Library to deliver the content of the greatest works of history instantly—but the personal ownership of books is expressly forbidden.

Jess Brightwell believes in the value of the Library, but the majority of his knowledge comes from illegal books obtained by his family, who are involved in the thriving black market. Jess has been sent to be his family’s spy, but his loyalties are tested in the final months of his training to enter the Library’s service.

When he inadvertently commits heresy by creating a device that could change the world, Jess discovers that those who control the Great Library believe that knowledge is more valuable than any human life—and soon both heretics and books will burn.…

Why Am I Waiting?
Who cares that this book doesn't release until July, it sounds amazing!! I also love how unique the story sounds. I don't think I've ever read a story with the main focus being the library of Alexandria. As a lover of books, the library of Alexandria has always held a certain fascination for me so on that level alone I can't wait to read this one. Definitely cool, can't wait, can it be July already please?!

Since I'm curious, Have you heard of Ink and Bone before?
If so, Do you plan on reading it?

Sound off in the comments below. I love to read your responses.
That about wraps up my Waiting On Wednesday for this week. Feel free to leave a link to your Wednesday memes in the comments below, I love finding new books to read. Like what you see? Please share!
