Booking Trough Thursday (22)
BTT Asks: Any books you’re particularly hoping to be gifted this year? Any that you’re giving as presents this holiday season? |
Oh wow I have a list a mile long of Books I'd love to get. Some of my top choices are:
Black City,Cannibal Reign,Ten,Born Wicked,Enchanted,Dark Inside,The Colony,A World Of Curiosities,When All Hell Breaks Loose and that's not even touching the Zombie books which could easily take up half the page. While I expect to get a few on my list, I really hope I get Giftcards to Amazon or Barnes&Noble instead. It's just so much easier than hoping someone picks up the right book. Still any I get I'll be happy with since I know my book wishlist is ridiculously long.
As for gifting I am buying a few but can't reveal them since I know the person receiving follows my blog. I love giving books as gifts especially when I know the person really would love what they receive and like me it's not a gift they use once. I always end up rereading books down the road and if it is a series I really love maybe even once or twice a year!!
Now for my questions, What book would you be over the moon to receive for Christmas? Do you prefer E-Books or physical books as gifts? Leave me an answer in the comments below, I love reading your responses!

I wish I knew more readers so I could give the gift of books more often!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
A person would really have to be a reader, before I would give a book.

Books you're going to give but can't reveal yet - what a suspense :) I read a lot of e-books but prefer the physical books as I collect them. And even if I don't (or can't due to time constraints) read all of them it's always a great feeling just to have them and see them nicely sitting on the bookshelf.
ReplyDeleteI prefer Physical as gifts it's just so nice ripping open a box and seeing books inside. But if someone wanted to gift me an Ebook I'd gladly read it and not complain :)
DeletePhysical books. Always. I don't have an e-reader although I've borrowed my son's a couple of times. Don't love it. I love giving books and gift cards are an easy way for people to get ebooks. I'm pretty sure my mom gave my boys B&N gift cards in addition to their gifts!
