Nexi Jones—part witch, part guardian, and wannabe kick-ass warrior—can’t throw a punch or conjure the simplest magic. But that doesn’t stop her from hunting the werewolves who slaughtered her human family. She’ll have her revenge, but only if Kyden, the elite guardian, would get the hell out of her way.

Kyden can’t decide if Nexi wants to get herself killed or if she just has no clue what she’s doing. But her father made it clear: keep Nexi safe…or else. Of course, the more Nexi runs toward revenge, the more she needs Kyden’s aid, and as she grows into her power and confidence, so does his desire to protect her. The only problem? She’d rather he dropped dead.

But when a vampire paints a bull’s-eye on Nexi’s back, she’s hard-pressed to deny Kyden and the help he’s offering. Even if it means getting her revenge will be a little bit harder. At least it will still be as sweet.

Today on Blood,Sweat and Books, we have Stacey Kennedy. She’s an urban fantasy lover at heart, but she also enjoys losing herself in dark and sensual worlds. She lives in southwestern Ontario with her husband, who gave her a happily-ever-after. Together, they have two small children who can always make her smile, and who will never be allowed to read Mommy’s books. If she’s not plugging away at a new story, you’ll find her camping, curling up with the latest flick, or obsessing over Sons of Anarchy and Game of Thrones.

In her newest release, WEREWOLVES BE DAMNED, we are introduced to a few good werewolves and a few bad ones, too. We’ve asked her today who her favorite TV show werewolves are—here’s what she had to say:

Stacey Kennedy Guest Post
I totally admit I have a thing for werewolves. I’m not sure why, since in real life it would totally freak me out to watch a hunky man turn into a wolf. But in the world of books and television shows, it just works!
So, I have two werewolves that I’m totally crushing on. Let’s start with the good guy first, which is Dyson from Lost Girl. Now I have a small—scratch that, huge—addiction to this TV show. And the leading werewolf, Dyson is just smokin’ hot.
He’s moral, loyal, and kind—yes, all good things we love in our heroes. If you haven’t had the chance to check him out, you can watch Lost Girl on Netflix. If you love urban fantasy romance, you’ll love it. It’s an amazing show!
Now, onto my other werewolf lover, who is Klaus from The Vampire Diaries. Okay, so it took me a while to start watching this show, because when it first came out (and with the whole Twilight insanity) I just got bored of the whole vampire stuff. Now, I’ve been on a marathon of catching up on the four seasons of Vampire Diaries. Is it a surprise I’m addicted? Not really…my name is Stacey Kennedy and I have a TV show addiction.
Back to the other hunk, Klaus, who is a total bad boy. There are times I think I should hate him, but honestly, I simply feel bad for him. He’s one of those people that do horrible things, but somehow, you actually understand where he’s coming from. And he’s got this British accent mixed with a smirk that just makes me melt, and well, do I need to say more?
If you haven’t checked out these werewolves, I highly recommend you do. Like, right now! Thank you so much to Blood,Sweat and Books for letting me stop by today and chat about my werewolf crushes!

  2. Great guest post. The first paragraph pretty much describes my love for werewolves too. But, I don't know where I'd start with a favourite, I have far too many of them lol
