1000th Blog Post & A Giveaway to Celebrate it!!!
Hello lovely Followers and Fans of Blood,Sweat and Books. Today after some 2 plus years blogging I celebrate my 1000th post *throws confetti*!! To help celebrate, I present to you a video that sums up my joy of this occasion.
OK phew got that out of my system. In all seriousness though I couldn't have gotten this far without the love and support from you all. Each like, share, comment and recommendation means the world to me. Thanks for being awesome! Before I get all sentimental, I want to give a big shout out to Giselle from Xpresso reads (Follow her HERE she's awesome). Her encouragement is what really pushed me to start blogging in the first place and I'll be forever grateful for that.
Cue the sentimental stuff!!
When I first started blogging my goal was mainly to just keep a record for myself of all the books I've read and my thoughts on them and hey if an Author thought I was worthy of reading their book that was good enough compensation for me. Flash forward 2 years and here I am writing my 1000th blog post. While I still blog mainly for my own amusement. I now care about the community I'm apart of. I also spend way too much time obsessing about whether or not my content is good enough and though my TBR is a mile long I still try to read every single arc that comes my way even if it may take me longer than I'd like to do so. What hasn't changed? My joy of reading and helping to spread that love with all of you. That has been the constant that keeps me coming back. Here's looking ahead to 1000 more!
Finally here's a couple of fun facts about my blog you may or may not know:
My very first Review on the blog was Pyxis by K.C. Neal on January 28th of 2012!!
My very first Author request came from Kendall Grey asking me to review her book Inhale.
My very first Meme created was Trailer Tuesday where I shared the Book trailer for Born Wicked.
My 500th blog post was a Weekly Wrap Up where I had just switched to Bloglovin with the closure of Google Reader. Sadly I never even noticed this milestone.

Now since this is a super huge and awesome milestone I figured I'd celebrate with a small Giveaway! Since I unfortunately can't afford to give away a thousand smackeroos I decided to give away 1000 pennies instead. For those of you like me who are math challenged that's $10 to spend any way you want on either The Book Depository or Amazon. Just want a Giftcard to use at a later time? That's fine as well.
Giveaway Rules:
-Must Be 13 Years Old To Enter. If under 18 and chosen winner please get parental permission before sending me your address.
-Giveaway will be Open Internationally and run May 13-May 23. Winner will be announced the next morning and will have 48 hours to respond with Shipping Details before I announce an alternate winner.
