Jamie Asks: What was the most emotional read you have ever had?

Through the years I've read many books, some that have even made me cry but the only book I can recall sobbing to is Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince. Dumbledores death was a huge shock and I remember being gutted when it happened.

"Albus Dumbledore was never proud or vain; he could find something to value in anyone, however apparently insignificant or wretched, and I believe that his early losses endowed him with great humanity and sympathy. I shall miss his friendship more than I can say, but my loss is as nothing compared to the wizarding world's. That he was the most inspiring and the best loved of all Hogwarts headmasters cannot be in question."
—Elphias Doge in Dumbledore's obituary.

As for non Harry Potter books that have made me cry and have stuck with me because of that they would be:

The Velveteen Rabbit
The Road
Zoya
The Devil's Arithmetic

Sure I've cried at other books and the laundry list would be a mile long but those mentioned above really stick out to me the most.

Now for my questions, Do you read sappy books? Have you ever been surprised crying over a book? What is the most emotional book you have read?Leave me an answer in the comments below, I love reading your responses!

    1. I loved Zoya, after the movie came out I went and read the book and loved it. Daniel Steele is definitely out of my usual reading zone but the book was fabulous can't deny that.
