Booking Through Thursday (40) Reading outside books

Booking Through Thursday is a weekly bookish meme where participants are asked a series of questions about their reading habits. To join this or future Booking Through Thursdays Click Here.

This Week BTT Asks:
Outside of books, what’s your favorite thing to read? Newspapers? Magazines? Blogs? Fanfiction? Specific websites??

I used to be a big reader of magazines but now only really pick them up when waiting to be checked out at the store. I've never read much fan fiction so that doesn't really apply to me.

I do however like to read online news and check Yahoo frequently throughout the day just to stay on top of things. I also really like to read blogs/websites. I have those I follow religiously and those I might only click once or twice a week. I do try and visit at least a few new ones daily from those I find on Facebook or Twitter because variety as they say is the spice of life.

I should also note that the content of the blogs & websites I visit vary dependi…

Yea though we perish, yea though we die, we'll all be together in the sweet by and by...

Fifteen-year-old Ricky Genero is writing a journal of the zombie apocalypse. His high school has burned to the ground, his friends are all either dead or shambling corpses roaming the earth in search of human flesh, and his best friend died saving his six-year-old brother Chuck from a zombie horde. When Chuck is bitten and infected with the zombie virus, Ricky must travel among the walking dead in search of a cure.

ReviewAll Together Now starts at the beginning of a Zombie Apocalypse and through a series of journal entries tells how the main character survives through it all. All Together Now is a book that  is fast paced, well written and thought provoking while still filling its pages with plenty of action, suspense and of course Zombie carnage.

One of the things I really liked about …

When souls want a trial by combat for their right to enter heaven or hell, they go up against her, and she hasn’t lost a battle yet.

But as she starts her senior year at Purgatory High, the arena fights aren’t enough to keep her spirits up anymore. When the demons start to act weird, even for demons, and the King of the Demons, Armageddon, shows up at Myla’s school, she knows that things are changing and it’s not looking good for the quasi-demons. Myla starts to question everything, and doesn’t like the answers she finds. Wha…
