For this weeks Zurvival Saturday I wanted to share some of my favorite Fairy Tales/Children's Stories with a Zombie spin. 1.) Alice In Deadland by Mainak Dhar Review Here In this book Alice is already a trained fighter living in the Deadlands. One day she spots a biter(aka zombie)escaping down a rabbit hole and that's where the fun begins. The clever blending of Alice In Wonderland into this undead landscape really sets this book apart. 2.) Hansel and Gretel Are Dead by Kevin Richey This story follows Hansel and Gretel by The Brothers Grimm fairly closely but deviates by having the infection of a zombie virus happen at the beginning of the book. I really love how the infection was weaved into the story and I kid you not I shouted OMG out loud several times when I read the ending. 3.)
