Image
It's time for another edition of Freebie Friday! Each week I compile a list of books that I've found for FREE and share them with all of you! All you have to do is click on the title and it will take you to the purchase page for that book. Unless noted all books are first in the series. Science Fiction & Fantasy The Cure by Stephanie Erickson [ Purchase ] "One life will make the difference." Macey Holsinger has heard that promise for as long as she can remember. But it hasn't saved anyone yet, not even her little brother.  Little is known about the disease, except that it’s a rapid and absolute killer. Countless lives have been claimed in the last hundred years, and government scientists are working hard to stop the spread through human experimentation. Testing has killed nearly as many people as the disease and, to Macey at least, it seems like they’re no closer to a cure.  At sixteen, conformity to the government’s idea of “sacrifice f

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly blog post hosted by  Breaking The Spine  where readers showcase which books they are highly anticipating. This week I'm turning my spotlight on Ash & Bramble by Sarah Prineas . Expected Publication:  September 15, 2015 from Harper Teen When the glass slipper just doesn’t fit… The tale of Cinderella has been retold countless times. But what you know is not the true story. Pin has no recollection of who she is or how she got to the Godmother’s fortress. She only knows that she is a Seamstress, working day in and out to make ball gowns fit for fairy tales. But she longs to forsake her backbreaking servitude and dares to escape with the brave young Shoemaker. Pin isn’t free for long before she’s captured again and forced to live the new life the Godmother chooses for her—a fairy tale story, complete with a charming prince—instead of finding her own happily ever after. ___________________________________ Why Am I Waiting

One Trailer will be for an upcoming book and the other will be one that has already been released. This week I focus my spotlight on Lies Beneath by Anne Greenwood Brown & Undertow by Michael Buckley Available Now: Lies Beneath by Anne Greenwood Brown Calder White lives in the cold, clear waters of Lake Superior, the only brother in a family of murderous mermaids. To survive, Calder and his sisters prey on humans and absorb their positive energy. Usually, they select their victims at random, but this time around, the underwater clan chooses its target for a reason: revenge. They want to kill Jason Hancock, the man they blame for their mother's death. It's going to take a concerted effort to lure the aquaphobic Hancock onto the water. Calder's job is to gain Hancock's trust by getting close to his family. Relying on h

Manga Monday (3) Review: Another Omnibus by Yukito Ayatsuji

Manga Monday is a new feature to the blog which will be replacing (or at least existing alongside) Book to Movie Monday. Although I don't talk about them much on the blog, I am actually a huge, huge fan of Anime, Manga's, Graphic Novels and Comics. This feature will sort of be a catch all for all of the above. Some weeks I might just showcase a title, others I might talk about an artist or even (least here's hoping) feature an interview or two. We'll just sort of roll with the punches together. Sound good? This week, I'll be reviewing the Omnibus of the Manga Another by  Yukito Ayatsuji Pages: 720 Art Design: Hiro Kiyohara Publisher: Yen Press Publication: October 29, 2013 In the spring of 1998, Koichi Sakakibara transfers into Class 3-3 at Yomiyama North Middle School.
