Netflix recently announced that they'd be bringing Anne of Green Gables back to small screen in collaboration with CBC (that's the Canadian Broadcasting Company in case you're wondering). Anne of Green Gables is a series of novels written by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Anne of Green Gables was first published back in 1908 and told the story of an orphaned teenaged girl in 1890, Anne Shirley. After being in and out of orphanages and serving as a nanny for thankless employers, Anne winds up being adopted by Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert, siblings in their fifties and sixties . Though they had wanted a strong boy to help with the field work, they eventually welcome the very female Anne into their lives. Woo boy it's been awhile since I've done one of these. I do apologize about that.  Lately I've been trying hard to find some lesser known Zombie films to watch. I've run the gambit (so to speak) through the years and popular  releases aside it's becoming a bit hard to find ones that I actually haven't seen. However, being the huge fan of the genre that I am a little extra effort to find some quality Zombie films to watch is half the fun of being a fan of Zombies in the first place. *All movie titles linked to IMdB for your convenience. First up I want to share a film called Contracted: Phase II . This film is a sequel to a film called Contracted which is in short about a girl who gets infected with a Zombie virus through an unprotected sexual encounter. Phase II expands more upon the world and the man responsible for spreading the infection. The acting in this film was great and the main character Riley is sympathetic to say the least. Yesterday I took a break from reading and decided to spend some time watching Zombie movies on Netflix instead. I started my afternoon of Zombie watching goodness by viewing a movie called A little Bit Zombie . This title was one I hadn't heard of before so I figured why not give it a shot. A Little Bit Zombie is on the cheesy side of the Zombie movie spectrum but the film did have a distinct Army of Darkness feel to it which didn't go unnoticed. Basically the main character Steve is infected with a Zombie virus via mosquito bites he receives at the beginning of the film. He remains mostly himself (for awhile anyway) but does develop a strong craving for what else but brains. Sadly, poor Steve finds himself in need of sufficient nourishment and animal brains simply won't do. From that point on the time is spent bouncing between Steve giving into his cravings and him being hunted by some hunter/scientists who may or may not hold the cure for his affliction. Overall, t...
