Zurvival Saturday (99) Free Zombie E-Books

This week I have some awesome and best of all Free Zombie E-books to share with you all! All books listed are Kindle Editions unless noted differently.

Old World by Oliver Kennedy [Purchase]
Great Britain, 2014. Civilisation as we know it has been torn apart by war. This once peaceful nation has been transformed into a melting pot of chaos and desolation.

Death stalks the land. The towns and cities are home to the dead who have learned to walk again, driven by a single desire to consume the flesh of the living. The countryside is the abode of marauders, lawless men driven by starvation, fear and evil.

There is talk of worse to come, dark fiends inhabiting the irradiated lands of the south, beings who have risen up from the radioactive ashes of war.

Here and there dwell pockets of innocence, good men and women whose daily mission is living to see another dawn. But the dark tide has not receded, and the dawns are certainly numbered. Welcome to the Green and Pleasant Land.

Affliction Z: Patient Zero by L.T. Ryan [Purchase]
Something dark lurks in the wilds of Southern Nigeria. An experiment has gone horribly wrong and threatens to wipe all traces of humanity from Earth. 3rd Ranger Battalion, Bravo Company is sent in to assist, clean up the mess before it gets out of control.

They've vanished.

Sean Ryder is an Air Force Pararescueman. Attached to SEAL Team 8, he believes he is on a routine rescue and recovery mission. Less than half an hour after landing in Nigeria, he knows that is not the case. And the further his mission leads him, the harder it becomes to get out alive.

Ephemeral by Addison Moore [Purchase]
The last thing Laken Stewart remembers is the oncoming car, then bursting through the windshield.

Two months dissolve without her knowledge and she finds herself in unfamiliar surroundings with strangers who not only profess to know her but insist she’s someone else entirely.

Laken discovers her long dead boyfriend, Wesley, has been thrown into this alternate world as well. He is quick to inform her she suffered a horrible fall and that her memory hasn’t fully returned. According to Wesley the other life she had—her name, her family, they were simply a side effect of her brain trauma.

In her quest for answers she meets Cooper Flanders, the son of her psychiatrist who readily believes every word she says.

Laken Stewart knows she died on that hot July afternoon, but now she’s alive—or is she?

INFECtIOUS by Elizabeth Forkey [Purchase]
"It's all about blood, Ivy. It always has been."

I've known something was wrong. I've sensed but avoided the truth that I was slipping. You'd think if you recognized that you were dying that you'd hurry to stop it, to heal whatever is sick. It's innately human to struggle for life. But for some reason, though it makes no sense, it's also innately human to lean away from eternal life.

Six years ago, when millions of people disappeared from the face of the earth in a silent instant, all hell broke loose. People did what you'd expect: they panicked. We've been programmed with the will to survive—to care for our loved ones at any cost. Husbands became murderers. Children became thieves. The world turned upside-down and survival was all anyone could think about.

That was before we knew about the disease..

The Oasis of Filth by Keith Soares [Purchase]
From its seemingly innocuous beginning, The Oasis of Filth is the chronicle of the outbreak of a mysterious disease that ravages mankind. The story is told by a doctor in suburban Maryland who is on the front lines of discovering the disease, but finds himself quickly overwhelmed by a world that collapses into paranoia, fear and loneliness. He makes an unexpected connection to Rosa, a beautiful woman half his age with an inquisitive nature and inherent sense of hope and resourcefulness, and together they go on a sprawling journey across the eastern United States, finding danger, hope, and possibly even the salvation of the world.

Comments

  1. I have ALL of these. I think I have read Affliction Z, but I have read so many z books, its hard to keep up with unless they stand out, you know? Oh wait, I didn't get Ephemeral, because it isn't a true Z book...sorry!

  2. I try very hard to find books I know I haven't shown and took a chance with Ephemeral since it did include Zombies even if it wasn't a "true" zombie book :) Maybe next time, eh?
