Waiting On Wednesday (109) Harry Potter: The Creature Vault by Jody Revenson

Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly blog post hosted by Breaking The Spine where readers showcase which books they are highly anticipating. This week I'm turning my spotlight on Harry Potter: The Creature Vault (The Creatures and Plants of the Harry Potter Films) by Jody Revenson.

Expected Publication:
October 28, 2014 from Harper Design

ADD TO GOODREADS / Pre-Order

Dementors and House-elves, merpeople and Chinese Fireball Dragons—these are just a few of the magical creatures and frightening monsters populating J. K. Rowling's wizarding world. Harry Potter: The Creature Vault is a fascinating look at how this menagerie was brought to life for the blockbuster Harry Potter film series. Detailed profiles of each creature include rare concept illustrations, behind-the-scenes photography, and filmmaking secrets from the Warner Bros. archive. A removable poster picturing each of the creatures and an interactive Eeylops Owl Emporium catalog complete this must-have package.

  3. This sounds pretty cool! I like the idea of a catalog for Eeylops Owl Emporium :) Ultimately, I don't think I could justify buying this because I already own Harry Potter: Film Wizardry, which has a lot of the same elements, but I hope they do something like this again for the Fantastic Beasts movie!

  5. Cute! I hadn't heard of this one. All of those online HP quizzes usually stump me with the creatures and plants questions. I should probably read this. :)
