Top Ten Favorite Books of 2013!
2014 is finally upon us and that means that it's time to reveal my Top Ten Favorite Books of 2013. For what feels like months now I've been contemplating my list of favorites and while some books have been added or bumped I feel this final grouping does this past year of amazing reads justice.
I want to further explain that just because these are my favorites it does not deter whatsoever from the other books that I've read in 2013. From Young adult to Non-Fiction to yes, even Zombie romance the literature put out this past year has exceeded my expectations and I can only hope 2014 proves to be the same or maybe, just maybe, even better!!
Anyway I know, I know enough rambling. Without any further ado Let's get to it shall we?!
In order from 10-1 here are my Top Ten Favorite Books of 2013:
10.) Sneak (Swipe #2) by Evan Angler Released: September 4, 2012

I want to give shout outs to the books or series that just barely didn't
make the list: Untold Tales Vol. 3 by Rhiannon Frater, Rising Sun, Falling Star by Vickie Hall, Dead Living by Glenn Bullion, Inhuman by Kat Falls & White Horse by Alex Adams these
books just missed the cut but were still awesome nonetheless.

These Broken Stars and Dark Triumph both made my "list". :) I really enjoyed the gothic feel of The Madman's Daughter, too, but The Waking Dark was a bit too dark and grotesque for me. I loved Wasserman's The Book of Blood and Shadow, though. Great list!
ReplyDeleteI've shuffledmy bottom 5 a ridiculouse amount of times but my Top pickshave remained near constant. If I'mbeing honest Id probably have around 30 on the list vying for spots. Just so many good books read in 2013.
ReplyDeleteHey, so it turns out that I *do* still have my ARC of White Horse. I'm culling books to make room for more, so before I give it away, I thought I'd see if you wanted it. It's never been read. Just tweet me or shoot me an email if you're interested. :)
DeleteThis is a great list! Many of these are still on my to-be-read list, but I'm starting The Waking Dark next. Thanks so much for sharing your favorites and putting some new reads on my radar. Wishing you a fabulous 2014!
