Have you ever wondered how you'd fare if you woke up tomorrow and the Zombie Apocalypse had actually happened? Yeah, me too. We'd all like to think we'd survive but in all actuality some people will have it much easier than others. As the real estate market likes to say, it is all about location,location,location! Last year the people over at Career Builder tirelessly had their number crunchers pour over data and they came up with a list of the best and worst places to live should a Zombie Apocalypse indeed happen. However, while that list certainly was interesting I wanted to broaden my horizons a bit more and include cities from various contents not just those in the US. Even the best of us need sleep at some point and during a Zombie outbreak that's going to mean bedding down in unusual places. Not only is safety a concern but also peace of mind. Nobody wants to be woken up to a Zombie mere inches away from flesh ready to take a bite. So this week I wanted to take the time to share several options for bedding down safely or should I say safer during a Zombie apocalypse.  1.) A dumpster- If you've ever driven past a retail store or fast food joint you might have noticed that most stores keep their dumpsters locked behind gates that are also surrounded by brick or concrete walls. If caught out in the open at night with exhaustion setting in this might be the best option for you to bed down in. Not only are the walls usually 6-7 feet orr higher but also the smell of garbage inside the dumpster might help mask your scent. When billions of Zombies infest the Earth Death might not seem such a big deal. However, whether a loved one is turned into a Zombie or they die by other means the age old question of What to do with the body will remain. Depending on the circumstances and the type of Disaster dealing with the former living needs to be handled quickly. According to the World Health Organization, The widespread belief that corpses pose a risk of communicable disease is wrong. Dead bodies that have died from Trauma or Natural causes are quite unlikely to cause outbreaks of diseases such as typhoid fever, cholera, or plague, though they may transmit gastroenteritis or food poisoning syndrome to survivors if they contaminate streams, wells, or other water sources. So keep that in mind during disposal. For this week's Zurvival Saturday I wanted to discuss possible causes that could start a Zombie Apocalypse. I've read a ton of Zombie books and one thing no book can agree on is how a Zombie becomes a Zombie in the first place. Therefore I figured I'd share with you my personal choices for ways a Zombie Apocalypse could start. In no particular order: 1. Bio Technology - Some genius gets it in his head to create a drug that would essentially make a super soldier (someone who wouldn't get exhausted or feel pain). Somehow the invented drug gets messed up or possibly a terrorist tampers with the samples and boom they create a zombie virus but don't realize until they've shot up the majority of soldiers in the area.
