Cathy De Los Santos asks: If you could write a book, what would it be about, and why? Over the years I've started writing a few but always lost interest with them. I did have a fairly established saga started about two years back. It was an epic fantasy which I intended to unfold over three books. I had maps, lineages of the characters, a whole notebook of slang used by the main female. It was really aggressively written for about a year and then I lost interest for whatever reason and now the story is sitting on a shelf collecting dust somewhere. I can still remember the dream I had about it and having that strong urge to just get up immediately and write. Maybe someday I'll pick it back up and complete it even just for myself but as of now I have no plans to. My husband has always said I should write about Zombies but I've honestly never tried to. For this week's Zurvival Saturday I wanted to share some of my favorite Zombie movie trailers. In no particular order they are: Fido This trailer has that leave it to beaver charm, while comically incorporating zombies into the mix. Shaun Of The Dead Do I really have to explain the awesomeness of this trailer? Not only is Shaun Of The Dead one of my personal favorite movies but this trailer really highlights spot on what makes this movie so great. Dawn Of The Dead 2004 I still get a chuckle when I see the neighborhood overview in the beginning of this trailer, if you haven't noticed most of the houses have no driveways lol. While I do think this trailer needed a great soundtrack to it, it still does a really good job of setting up the movie. Zombieland I really like how this trailer blended the Zombies with Comedy. I wanted to apologize about my lack of posting this week. If you don't follow me on twitter than you probably haven't seen my whiny tweets about being sick. I don't know how you are but when I'm sick I want to do nothing more than lay on the couch and stare at the pretty pictures on the box in front of me and even that is sometimes to much effort. Anyway just wanted to say something in case I don't manage to get anymore posts up this week. I'm going to lay back down cause this whole sitting up thing being functional sucks. If you have any good remedies for getting over a cold let me know in the comments below. I have medicine but anything that can flush it out faster would be awesome. On a totally book related note, Chris Howard the Author for Rootless confirmed he will be handing out ARC's at BEA if you were interested in the book and attending you should totally check that out.
